Athletes of the Month: Reiley Heaberlin

At 5” 10 inches tall junior Reiley Heaberlin has proven her athletic abilities on the Lady Rebel varsity basketball team. This 16-year-old is a forward starter and the current leading scorer on the court.

Heaberlin said though the team has experienced a rough start this season, under the instruction of Coach Grover Levy, they hope for continual improvements.

“We just have to wait and see what happens,” Heaberlin said. “I love my teammates. They’re great and we have a lot of fun.”

FHS Athletic Director Marlon Ruck said Heaberlin truly is a breakout player this season.

“Reiley has been a big spark for them this year,” Ruck said.

Reiley is the daughter of Mac and Rhonda Heaberlin.
